Praia da Rocha has restaurants, bars and cafés galore and they run from end to end of the main avenue along the top of the beach ( Avenida Tomás Cabreira), with several more at Portimão Marina ( at the eastern end) and a selection of beach bar / restaurants on the beach itself! There really are places to eat whatever your taste and budget including italian, chinese, indian, portuguese and english. Most of the restaurants display their menu outside, making it easy to browse before deciding where to stop.
There is an equally wide range of bars in Praia da Rocha which offer a peaceful refreshment stop during the day but come to life later in the evening, particularly during the summer months as the discos and nightclubs get busy.
